STS connect bespoke

Fees, Equipment & Terms

Any equipment supplied by us from the outset of our agreement will remain property of Salon Telephone Services.

Should the agreement be ceased within the initial 3 month term you may be required to subsidise STS for the equipment provided to you,

to which all associated fees will be stated within the agreement documentation prior to any agreement or service commencing.


*** Additional extensions can be added at any time, to which can be applied as a desktop or mobile app, or to a physical desk based or DECT cordless handset, and will be subject to an additional £6.99 per month per extension, with the option to add an additional line with the unlimited calls package at £12.50 p/month.


Audio Messaging

As standard you will not receive any audio marketing or messaging service, you will need to select this for the service to be supplied.

You will have access to all associated audio messaging services, including 'Welcome Messaging', 'In Q Messaging', 'On Hold Messaging' and 'Out of Hours Messaging'. All such audio services are available to you, and can be purchased directly by you at your leisure.

Each Audio Message starts at £49.99.


Unlimited Calls

The 'Unlimited Calls' package is based on a fair usage policy, any calls outside of the package allowance will be chargeable at their prevailing rates.

To avoid any doubt, the 'Unlimited Calls' package consists of any calls made outbound to any UK 01, 02, 03 or 07 destination.

Any outbound calls made to any other destination, from premium rate telephone numbers through to international destinations will be chargeable at their respective prevailing rates.


Opening Hours Support

The ''Opening Hours Support' service will be provided as standard, in which to clarify will run from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Increased care levels are available for an additional fee.

For 8am to 8pm cover, Monday to Saturday, you can add this to your package for an additional £9.99 per month


STS Superfast BROADBAND AND WIFI

This service will be subject to a minimum 12 month fixed agreement.

Broadband service and speeds are determined by the services that are directly available to your premises address.

STS will act to ensure the best broadband service available to us will be supplied to you.

Where STS 'Superfast Broadband' is not physically available, we will source the next available service, and will be subject to a minimum of an ADSL connection (STS Essential Broadband), up-to an Fibre connection (STS Super Fast Broadband).

Where STS Essential Broadband is the only option available, an additional circuit may be required. STS will formerly confirm this prior to any prior work being undertaken.

A new router will be issued to you, and will be subject to a £4.95 delivery fee.


Your existing Broadband service

Please note that should you opt to run this service via an existing broadband service thats not been directly provided to you by Salon Telephone Services, we cannot guarantee a 99.99% service uptime and cannot be held liable for any interference to the service.

However if you do experience an issue with your broadband service, the mobile app will still be available to handle all calls, using a mobile data connection..


Call Answering Service

The 'Call Answering Service' provides a call answering service during the hours you require (as an example 9am - 5pm) which will ensure your calls are answered in your company name, and you will receive all details of each caller via email and SMS confirmation. Each call is subject to a £1.99 call answering fee. You will be required to deposit a minimum of £25.00 + vat as an initial credit balance. There is no obligation to add additional credit once the initial balance has been spent. If you wish for the service to continue after the initial credit balance has been spent you can simply top up as required when your balance runs low, or you can set-up a Direct Debit facility.


Script Writing Service

A Script Writing service is available, and is £POA dependant on the campaign and content required.


Initial Fee charged upfront prior to service delivery.

All fees stated are exclusive of the prevailing vat rates.

Essentials TRIAL

Client Requirements & Responsibilities

± In order for the trial service to function, you will need to request that your telephone calls are forwarded by your current provider to an alternative number that we will provide to you upon activation of the service, which may incur additional fee's to you, so we would advise that you check with your current provider for full confirmation prior to enrolling on to the trial. 

The service will be delivered through a mobile app, so an appropriate smartphone or device will be required.


Mobile App

You will need to provide a 'smart' device thats capable of downloading our app, and is running the latest operating software.

Supported platforms include iOS, Android and Windows.

The Mobile App service will work on a Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G or 5G connection.


Audio Messaging

You will receive 1 x Welcome Message, an In-Queue or On Hold Message (that consists of 3 paragraphs (each of which can be upto a maximum of 50 words per paragraph) mixed over a music bed, & 1 x Closed Message as standard.

Additional messages can be supplied for an additional fee, starting from £49.99.


Unlimited Calls

Maturity of Trial period

Once the initial 30 day trial period has matured, you can opt to discontinue the service at no penalty at the end of this initial period, provided you provide us with prior written notice.

An STS representative will be in touch to confirm your position no less than 5 working days prior to the trial maturity date.

Should you wish to continue with the service, you will be automatically rolled into the STS Connect Essentials service, which will be subject to a minimum 3 month initial period, after which the period of agreement will default to a monthly rolling contract.

STS Connect Essentials

Fees, Equipment & Terms

*The initial monthly fee will be charged prior to the service delivery (upon receipt of a signed agreement),, after-which the service will be based on an initial 3 month period, after-which the service will default automatically to a rolling monthly term, which is cancellable at any time,.

**1 x Cordless DECT handset or desk based handset provided as standard, any additional handsets required will be subject to an additional fee, 

and subject to the handset variant that you require this can vary from £49.99 to £249.99 (+ vat). Full unit pricing will be provided in writing.

No further updates are scheduled within this service plan, however additional messages can be supplied for an additional fee, starting from £49.99.

**2 Cordless DECT handsets or desk based handsets provided, any additional handsets required will be subject to an additional fee, and subject to the handset variant that you require this can vary from £49.99 to £249.99 (+ vat). Full unit pricing will be provided in writing.

All equipment supplied by us from the outset of our agreement will remain property of Salon Telephone Services.

*** Additional extensions can be added at any time, to which can be applied as a desktop or mobile app, or to a physical desk based or DECT cordless handset, and will be subject to an additional £12..50 per month per extension, and will benefit from gaining an additional line with the unlimited calls package. (saving £6.99 p/month)


Audio Messaging

You will receive an initial STS Connect Essentials Audio Starter Pack, that will consist of 1 x Welcome Message, an In-Queue or On Hold Message (that consists of 3 paragraphs (each of which can be upto a maximum of 50 words per paragraph) mixed over a music bed, & 1 x Closed Message.

Every audio message will qualify for an update each and every month (1 update per calendar month).

Updates to be requested within the self service portal.

To avoid any doubt, the 'Unlimited Calls' package consists of any calls made outbound to any UK 01, 02, 03 or 07 destination.

Any outbound calls made to any other destination, from premium rate telephone numbers through to international destinations will be chargeable at their respective prevailing rates.

Call Answering Service

The Call Answering Service provides a specified answering hours package you require (as an example 9am - 6pm) which will ensure your calls are answered in your company name, and you will receive all details of each caller via email and SMS confirmation. The first ten calls answered each month are included within the STS Connect package, after-which each call answered within the same calendar month will be subject to a £1.99 call answering fee.

The Call Answering Service will cover business opening hours, however additional 'out of traditional business hours' services are available upon request for an additional monthly fee.

You can access truly unlimited audio messaging for an additional £49.99 per month. This is inclusive of all messaging services, and not limited to 'Welcome Messaging', 'In Q Messaging', 'On Hold Messaging', or 'Out of Hours Messaging'.

You will gain access to a members portal where you can access all associated voce artists, backing tracks and create your own scripts for submission for production.


'STS Ad's' Audio Messaging

You can access our 'STS Ad's' audio messaging service for an additional £49.99 per month. This is inclusive of all messaging services, and not limited to 'Welcome Messaging', 'In Q Messaging', 'On Hold Messaging', or 'Out of Hours Messaging'.

You will gain access to a members portal where you can access all associated voce artists, backing tracks, sound effects and be in a position to create your own scripts for submission for production.


Script Writing Service

A Script Writing service is available, however is not a compulsory service. You will gain priority access to our professional script writers.

As our recommendation, if you are opting to subscribe to the 'Unlimited Audio Messaging' or 'STS Ad's' services, we would recommend that you utilise the professional script writers that will be at your disposal.
